Waynflete is seeking a licensed school bus driver beginning with the 2024-2025 school year for approximately 30 hours per week during the school year. Duties may include driving a regular bus route and providing transportation for field trips, 体育运动, and other school-related events. The successful candidate must have a positive attitude, 喜欢孩子, work well in a team setting, and pass a school-required physical. Strong driving experience and a commitment to safety are essential. Commercial driver’s license with P and S endorsements and DOT physical clearance is required.

Varsity Girls Soccer Head Coach (5/13/24)

Waynflete School seeks a Varsity Girls Soccer Head Coach. The season begins August 19th and concludes around the first week of November. 中学 Assistant (4/18/24)

Waynflete School is seeking a full-time 中学 Assistant to support the work of the 中学 Program (Grades 6-8) beginning in late June. The 中学 is one of three divisions of Waynflete and is comprised of approximately 140 students.

The 中学 Assistant has responsibility for maintaining attendance records; managing health concerns and recordkeeping in consultation with the 健康 Coordinator; communicating regularly with families, students and faculty; drafting and proofreading all correspondence; and coordinating and staffing special events in the division. A significant portion of the job is devoted to assisting the 中学 Director in all logistical tasks and matters, including schedule man年龄ment and serving as administrative support. We are welcoming applicants who are interested in this role year-round or as a school-year only position.

Applicants should have a B.A. 学位, 的人际关系, analytic and organizational 技能, demonstrated expertise in written and oral communication and data man年龄ment, and an appreciation for Waynflete’s particular mission and goals. Experience in an independent school or other non-profit organization is preferred.

Part-Time Dance Teacher for Enrichment Program (4/3/24)

Waynflete seeks an experienced dance educator to teach part-time in the fee-based, after school* Enrichment Program beginning with the 2024-2025 school year. A competitive applicant will be experienced as a dance educator and choreographer with a strong grounding in contemporary and modern dance, and experience with additional genres. The ideal candidate will have a sense of humor, 艺术视角, and a predisposition for innovation and collaboration. Teaching experience with students in kindergarten through eighth grade is preferred.

*Enrichment programming is offered 3:30-5:00 on Mondays, 星期二, 周四, 和周五, and 12:30-2:00 on Wednesdays

Responsibilities include:

Designing and teaching 年龄-appropriate classes that might include 有创意的 movement, dance technique for different genres, and improvisation and composition
Working in collaboration with the full-time dance teacher to design classes that build upon the 技能 explored in the curricular program
Choosing appropriate accompaniment for use in class and performance
Shaping and/or choreographing movement studies and dances for two concerts per year (December and May)
Reporting to the Director of Auxiliary Programs and Director of Performing 艺术
Building effective relationships with students, families, and colleagues
